Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your registration and participation in SELSI NZCON 2026, the North Zone Conference of the Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of India, to be held on 1โ3 September 2026 at Government Medical College, Srinagar. By completing online registration you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility
Registration is open to:
- SELSI members (life, annual and associate)
- Surgeons, physicians and allied health professionals with a valid medical/dental/nursing registration
- Postgraduate residents and fellows enrolled in recognised surgical programmes (bonafide certificate required)
- Medical and dental students (valid student identity card required)
- Industry representatives (subject to prior approval by the Organising Committee)
The Organising Committee reserves the right to decline or revoke registration at its sole discretion if eligibility criteria are not met.
2. Registration
- Registration must be completed through the official online portal at selsinzcon2026.com/register.html.
- Each registration is personal and non-transferable except as provided in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- A registration is considered confirmed only upon full receipt of the applicable registration fee.
- The Organising Committee will send a confirmation email to the address provided; it is the delegate's responsibility to ensure the email address is accurate.
- Duplicate registrations will be rejected and any excess payment refunded.
3. Registration Fees
Registration fees are as published on the conference website at the time of registration. Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Early-bird rates apply only to registrations completed and paid by the advertised deadline. The Organising Committee reserves the right to revise fee schedules with reasonable notice.
4. Abstract Submissions
- Abstract submission is open only to registered delegates.
- Each delegate may submit a maximum of two (2) abstracts as presenting author.
- Submitted abstracts must be original work not previously published or presented at another national/international meeting.
- The Scientific Committee's decision on acceptance, presentation format (oral/poster/video) and scheduling is final.
- The Organising Committee reserves the right to publish accepted abstracts in the conference abstract book and/or a supplement of an affiliated journal.
5. Programme Changes
The Organising Committee reserves the right to alter the scientific programme, speakers, session timings and venue arrangements at any time. Such changes do not entitle delegates to a refund. Delegates are advised to check the official website for the latest programme information.
6. Delegate Conduct
All delegates are expected to:
- Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward fellow delegates, faculty, staff and exhibitors.
- Comply with the rules and regulations of Government Medical College, Srinagar.
- Refrain from recording, photographing or live-streaming any session without prior written permission from the speaker and the Organising Committee.
Any delegate found to be in breach of this conduct policy may be removed from the conference without refund.
7. Liability
The Organising Committee and its members, GMC Srinagar, SELSI and Blu Ink Academic Solutions shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense (including travel and accommodation costs) arising from:
- Cancellation, postponement or curtailment of the conference due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, public health emergencies or government orders
- Any personal injury, theft or loss of property at the conference venue
- Decisions made by delegates based on information contained in conference materials
Delegates are strongly advised to obtain personal travel and medical insurance prior to attending.
8. Intellectual Property
All conference materials, including the programme, abstract book, presentation slides (where shared) and website content, are the intellectual property of the Organising Committee or the respective authors. Reproduction in any form requires prior written consent.
9. Photography & Recording
The Organising Committee may photograph and video-record conference sessions and events for documentation and promotional purposes. By attending, delegates consent to appearing in such recordings. Delegates who do not wish to be photographed should notify the registration desk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
